Ubisoft

As the global gaming market continues to gain market share in the attention economy, one industry leader is going beyond the digital world to maintain their competitive advantage. In November 2021, Ubisoft, the video game company headquartered in France, announced their plans to build the world’s first “playable” theme park slated to open in 2025. Mathilde Bresson, the location-based entertainment manager behind the project, paints a picture of the gamified experience visitors can expect; one that brings to life gaming IP such as Assassin’s Creed, the Tom Clancy universe, and Just Dance in a way that engages gamers and non-gamers alike.

Enrique Arce, better known to millions around the world as the antagonistic Arturo Román in Netflix’s Money Heist, reveals the “powerful combination” of genres that make up the award-winning Spanish series.
