In November 2021, Ubisoft, the video game company headquartered in France, announced their plans to build the world’s first “playable” theme park slated to open in 2025. Mathilde Bresson, the location-based entertainment manager behind the project, paints a picture of the gamified experience visitors can expect; one that brings to life gaming IP such as Assassin’s Creed, the Tom Clancy universe, and Just Dance in a way that engages gamers and non-gamers alike.
